Dorm life:
What does it teach you?
I’m sure many people have different theories/valid reasons….
Maybe the most logical one is that it teaches you to live with other people and helps you be more Christ-like, which is true. What about the reason that it, “Will help you when you eventually get married live with your spouse.”
I have serious doubts about that.
SERIOUS doubts…Does that mean your husband will act like how we women act in the dorms? I would love some feedback on this from any of you experiences dorm people that are now married maybe?:D
Meanwhile, I really want to cook these….Don’t they look amazing???!
These beautiful cupcakes are to me such a cute reminder of Easter coming up :) A celebration of Jesus' Resurrection is a wonderful thing to remember and think about.
They can be found at...

Great blog Ariell! Being a former dormer who's now married.... I would say that it is at least a little helpful, for it teaches you to overlook the petty things and just plain get used to living with another sinful human being. You learn to ignore the little things that don't really matter, and to work together (room jobs, anyone?), to deal with interruptions (such as would come with having a family), and to adapt or compromise for the good of all.
Personally, I loved dorm life, as it gave me the sisters I always wanted and access to friends 24/7.
Thanks Liz for the feedback :) I was hoping I would hear from you and some of the other girls that all go to room and be friends with my sister :)
